Dr.Pulley Tuning Sport Vario V211501
Why should I prefer a sport or tuning Vario? Already with the original Vario and the use of Dr.Pulley SR rolls and SP sliders obtained an enormous performance improvement that come close to the values of a tuning Vario.
It makes sense the replacement by a sport or tuning Vario when the originals for example, needs to be replaced anyway. Whether it is because the vario discs have grooves or the ramps (the "racetracks" of rolls) are worn. When the boss is showing marks or traces of rust, even chane of the vario is announced. But there are also reasons to replace a new original Vario: For example, the construction of the original Vario is solved with the guide pins of the platen is not very good at Kymco Downtown 125i. Therefore, stirring often problems with uneven acceleration or jerk.
The Dr.Pulley Varios are much better made than originals Varios. The edges and ramps are perfectly smoothed, reducing the total weight. The ramps have a slightly different shape and are extended by about 1 mm, which is good for a better acceleration performance and the Vmax increased slightly.
The V211501 fits for Honda PCX 125 and 150 whose original variomatic is equipped with the roller size 20x15. The Dr.Pulley Sport Vario needs sliding rolls in the format 21x15. These rolls are not included! High quality Dr.Pulley sliding pieces however are already included. The original fan disk is to be used.
